Help Restore Shepherd Parkway on April 8

Join your fellow University of Illinois alums as we volunteer to clean up a D.C. park.

On April 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the D.C. Illini will help clean up the Shepherd Parkway by picking up illegally dumped trash and other debris.

We are helping restore Shepherd Parkway because all D.C. residents deserve access to clean and safe parks. The park is home to two bald eagle nests, two Civil War forts, rare plant species, and some of the oldest and largest trees in D.C. Learn more about the Community to Restore Shepherds Parkway here.
