Volunteer at Local Homeless Shelter Come serve breakfast with other DC Illini at a NW Washington women's shelter! Join the DC Illini at N Street Village! N Street Village is a women's shelter in DC where one of our very own alumni works. DC Illini have been helping out by serving breakfast on the third Saturday of each month. There are limited spots available each time. Date: Saturday, August 18, 2012 Time: All volunteers should be at N Street by 9:15 am and should plan to stay for approximately one hour. Breakfast begins being served to the women at 9:30 am.
