Make your reservations early to lock-in our good inside seats. New for this year is the option of purchasing Lawn Tickets! You may still attend the picnic, but your seats on the grass will be first-come-first served, and will be exposed to the elements! If you attend the picnic, you will be permitted to enter the lawn area early and spread a blanket to reserve your space (although others may encroach on your space in your absence).

Tickets, directions, catering menus, and any reminders will be mailed to attendees the week of 21 June.  

For those who have never attended one of our Wolf Trap Picnics, it is reconnecting with alumni and friends at its best. It is a provide your own picnic – you can prepare your own, purchase one on the way to Wolf Trap, or order one from the Wolf Trap Caterer (It’s pricy, but good). We provide the picnic tables – usually under shade trees overlooking the meadow. The picnic starts around 6pm. The performance is a few yards away inside the Pavilion. You will have time to return to your vehicle before the performance. Parking is free, and if you require assistance, shuttle carts are available from the nearby handicapped parking area. Our Rear Orchestra seats are also inside the pavilion, and if the weather turns bad, we are the envy of the hundreds of attendees with Lawn Seats.
