Douglas Award Reception and Presentation

The U of I Institute of Goverment and Public Affairs has annouced Robert Morgenthau, Manhattan?s nine-term district attorney, as the recipient of the 2009 Paul H. Douglas Award for Ethics in Government! All DC Illini Club Members are invited to attend!
Mr. Morgenthau, who has overseen a reported 3.5 million cases throughout his 35-year career in the nation’s highest-profile prosecutor’s office, was selected because of his career-long dedication to integrity and even-handed prosecution, and his pursuit of corruption and fraud in the public sector.
