As non-conference play wound down, the Fighting Illini starters had been maddeningly inconsistent and a few role players like Keller and Jordan started to emerge as consistent contributors. It will be interesting to see how Bruce Weber responds and which players see major changes in their playing time. The Illini round out a relatively easy start to the Big Ten schedule with games against Indiana and Penn State. It will be important for the team to notch wins in these games, because it only gets tougher from there, with games against Michigan State and Purdue. Come on out to Molly Malone's, just a few blocks from the Eastern Market Metro station on the Orange and Blue lines, and watch the team as it starts taking on Big Ten competition!
