Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center Tour

Come tour the Smithsonian's newest Air and Space Museum with a private DC Illini Tour! Registration deadline is Thursday, January 21st!

The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center near Washington Dulles International Airport is the companion facility to the Air and Space Museum on the National Mall.

The building opened in December 2003, and provides enough space for the Smithsonian to display the thousands of aviation and space artifacts that cannot be exhibited on the National Mall. The two sites together showcase the largest collection of aviation and space artifacts in the world.

The Space Shuttle Enterprise, the Enola Gay, and an SR-71 Blackbird are some of the many highlights in the facility.

The docent led tours highlight the Museum's collection and trace the history of air and space travel.  After the 90 minute tour, we can enjoy lunch in the museum's food court (individuals are responsible for food costs).  After lunch, you can walk around the museum as you wish.
